Healthy Baking Tip


Coconut CakeFeel like baking something today but wish you could make it healthier? You can easily reduce the fat calories in your baked goods simply by replacing the butter or oil called for in the recipe with the exact same amount of unsweetened applesauce. I have also used peanut butter in place of butter in my chocolate chip cookies, and other recipes. You can also use evaporated fat free milk as a substitute for heavy cream, also in equal amounts.
